(1) After receiving the report of initial investigation according to section 8, the local authority shall issue a notice regarding the following matters regarding the land to be acquired:
(a) For what purpose the land is to be acquired,
(b) Whether to acquire only the land or to acquire the house walls etc.,
(c) The name of the rural municipality or municipality where the land is located and its ward number,
(d) Lot number, if the land has been surveyed
(e) In case of unsurveyed land, the necessary details to help mark the land and the four forts of the land,
(f) The area of land or soil,
(g) Other necessary details.
(2) One copy of the notice of sub-section (1) shall be affixed to the following office or place:
(a) The local office of the project for which the land is to be acquired,
(b) District Administration Office,
(c) concerned rural municipality or municipal office,
(d) land administration office or warehouse,
(e) Places where there is more movement of the general public in the vicinity of the land concerned,
(f) Any other place if the local authority deems it necessary.
(3) It is appropriate and possible for the local authority to send the notice personally to such interested person if the local authority is convinced that no interested person will be able to get the information when publishing the notice as per sub-section (1). If he sees such interested person, he can also give notice personally and when giving such notice, if the compensation has been determined, he should also mention the office within how many days he has to attend in order to know the amount of compensation.
(4) Subsection (1) ) after the notice has been posted, the relevant land administration office or mall will release the registration of the deed of relinquishment of such land in any way.
